Way 2 LIVE

Today I would like to voice my opinion to all those of you who are reading this blog on something that I very strongly feel about and that is-LIVE AND LET LIVE.
Before I start on the topic I would like to clarify that I have decided to stick to the standard and so called ‘good’ English, well, atleast for this post.Which would mean that there are not going to be any more of ‘dis, dat n dere’ or any sort of misspellings if I can help it.But I must confess that I am finding it quite a bit difficult to keep away from all the short forms as they have affirmed their places quite firmly in my words being unrelentlessly used in my sms’,chats,scraps,e-mails and recently in my blogs(or rather blog because I’ve done just one as of now) as well. This is something that has afflicted anyone and everyone who use the above said technologies for networking and personal communications.People who vouch for this new found shorthand language would argue that it makes no difference as long as the message is conveyed.I,personally have nothing against these usages and am a strong supporter of it when it comes to messaging taking into consideration both the economic viability and the time constraints. But I can only give my opinion on it.The decision on what to choose and what not to is upto each individual,is it not?And that brings me to the topic I intend to discuss here,LIVE & LET LIVE….
So what is it that comes to one’s mind when he/she(I do not believe in gender biasing so you would always find me using the slash as necessity arrives)hears this expression. For me it is all about being able to live your life the way you want to live it.The freedom to have and make your own choices.

“TO EACH HIS/HER;) OWN”..Free citizens of a free country right:)?

After all individuality should survive and that is what moulded all the creative and revolutionary leaders of all the world. If Mahatma Gandhi had not chosen the ahimsa and satyagrahs to fight the British we may still have been the citizens of an enslaved nation. If Leonardo Da Vinci had not painted the MonaLisa in the unique way that he did,the world would have been deprived of a priceless masterpiece that it is now.I remember pop diva Madonna’s quote that I had once read “are you just supposed to die when you are 50?” It was a perfect retort to the society which expects people to live their lives according to its norms and stigmatizes those who do not follow it.
Yes I agree that with passing time a lot of changes have come about in the mindset of the people. But there are still people who dare not follow their dreams fearing “what will others think?”Oh yes,now that is one big Question that impedes us at every step in our lives.Aravind Adiga’s “rooster coop” concept is so true.
I watched the movie “A Wednesday” a few days ago.I’d seen it bag a lot of awards at every award ceremony in which the film was nominated for various categories and now I know why.”We are resilient by force, not by choice”,that is one specific line which caught my attention. We do not fight back because we are so used to living the average man’s life.It is those who dare to break free who make a difference.
But NO we do not live on our terms nor do we let others do the same.
Yet another movie which really moved me was director Aparna Sen’s critically acclaimed and national award winning ‘Mr & Mrs Iyer’.Now this is one movie which I would put on the “must watch” list.I felt it addresses more than one issue at the same time.It puts light on the communal riots that breaks out in every nook and cranny of our country these days and also the platonic relationship of a married woman with a complete stranger. As far as communalism is concerned I just don’t get it.What are these people fighting for?I can only say that whatever is being preached on the outside basically all religions go by the common concept of “doing good for the sake of humanity”.Then why do people tend to bring religion in the midst of everything in this day and age where everything is about technology? And talking about relationships I do not think there is any point in evaluating what is right and what is wrong because on the spur of the moment anything is possible. On the whole I loved watching it and the scenes and emotions have been beautifully caught on screen.
Now coming back to my topic,I am sure it is the youngsters who feel it the most being told at every stage what they are supposed to do and more importantly what they are NOT supposed to do;starting from what clothes to wear, what food to eat leading to what profession to choose, whom to marry and what life to live.
Now I am not trying to bring about a ‘BREAK THE RULES’ movement or saying that we are our own masters and that the sentiments of our elders are not important. No,that is not my way at all because I greatly respect my family and my family values. All I would like to put forward is what I began with, and i.e,LIVE AND LET LIVE………….

I am HERE!!!!!!!!

The Beginning!yes dats wat dis is,my beginning n my entry into the world of blogging!i wanted to start wid a "yipeeeee!!!!!oh ma god!i'm finally here" but den i thot i'd leave out d girlish expression n start wid some sophistication.but u knw wat i really don have to do dat cause read the blog name ppl,yes "Itz MY World".

N nw dat v r done wid n intro i'l juz give u some brief answers to the wat, when,y n how Qs about blogging.u c et started d whole idea, den krish n gujunu joined in n nw i guez der'l b a whole lot of other guys getting into it.so i thot 'ven all d guys can do it den y not a girl?' n dis is about penning down(well not quite technically cos m typing)ur thots n ideas n i love doing dat.so here i am:).bt nw i think even writing a book wud have been easier cause creating a blog takes so much more work.i ask myself "am i supposed to concentrate on my writing or worry abt wat template to choose or wat images to put up or even wat style of font to use ?" i guess when it comes to nythin 'tech' u have to bring it all out-creativity at its peak.but then again dis is my first ever blog n it's not juz me viewing it. i cud have a potential international readership(of course i can!)n so ven i do it i wud want to do it "in style".i'm not tech savvy bt i'v survived B.Tech for the last 3 years n wat more,i'm here blogging so i can't b al dat clueless or mayb i am.bt who says u'v to have knowledge of all the things around u.i say life's no fun once u feel u knw it all.they say curiosity or rather 'a thirst for knowledge' is d first n foremost thing a student should possess :p.bt i think dey 4got to add dat he/she should lso channel dat curiosity in the right direction,if u knw wat i mean ;).

Now i guess i should stop cause ven it cums to speaking my mind i'v no internal pause button so i can keep going on abt nothing endlessly.i don knw how many of u wud find my posts or rather me interesting.bt dis is all a girl's,no lemme rephrase dat cause i dont find the point in gender distinctions here.so dis is all my perceptions n perspectives n i cant help it.bt i guess dts wat blogging is abt,"YOU",is it not?
